The Path of the Soul's Passion: The Song of Solomon, Mary Magdalene and the Wisdom of Teresa of Avila Saturday, November 15 10:00 am-4:00 pm
Do that which best stirs you to Love. -Teresa of Avila
How can you draw courage and strength from inner guides? How do you find a passion that lights the way of your life?
Teresa of Avila was a 16th century woman of fire, confidence and joy. Born of Jewish descent, she was the first woman in Catholicism to be made a Doctor of the Church- one of only four women to be so exalted. Her life was a journey into depth and conviction as she adopted Mary Magdalene as her inner guide and turned to the Song of Solomon as a pathway to a union with the divine . Teresa bravely faced the Spanish Inquisition, finding an unshakable sense of courage and trust from her connection to Magdalene. We invite you to join the Mythica Foundation for this day of art, music, story, small group discussion and contemplative practices that will help light the way for you to discover your own sense of passion, purpose and joy.
