The Heroine's Quest: Queens of Heaven and Earth Isis and Inanna Saturday, March 6 from 10:30 am - 2:30 pm PST
A cross-cultural look at the stories of three of the most powerful images of the Divine Feminine throughout history: First we will meet Isis, the Egyptian goddess of life and death, legendary originator of Alchemy. In Part 2, we will discover the mysteries of Inanna, ancient Summerian goddess of grain and civilization, whose harrowing story of descent into the underworld is a potent symbol for the call for depth in the second half of life. We will discover how some of the most revered sacred churches in the world dedicated to the Virgin Mary are are built on top of sanctuaries dedicated to these earlier goddesses.
Our day will weave together inspiring art and story with time for personal reflection and journaling with small group sharing.
