The Ancient myths of the Heroine's Path speak of finding our way back to wholeness after loss, abandonment,  betrayal, dismemberment, amnesia, sleep and forgetting.  Hidden within the Ancient Sumerian epic of Inanna,   the Roman tale of Psyche and fairytales of the Brothers Grimm and Hans Christian Anderson are clues for our own awakening and healing.

In this one day myth and arts workshops, we
will discover how  the echoes of these myths  are emerging-- and transforming-- in contemporary culture from Wonder Woman to  Katniss Everdeen (The Hunger Games) to Beth Harmon (  The Queen's Gambit) and Rey Skywalker (The Force Awakens,  The Last Jedi, The Rise of Skywalker) as a call to wholeness and remembrance in service to our larger community .

Join  mythologist Kayleen Asbo, Ph.D and Jungian Film Studies teacher Terry Ebinger, MS for this transformative journey  through storytelling, art meditation, guided journaling and intimate circles of sharing- all on zoom.

.

Workshop Schedule:
10:30- 11:00: Opening Circle
11:00-12:30 The Map of the Heroine's Path Through Myth and Film
12:30- 1:30 Break and  guided  journaling
1:30- 2:00 Sharing Circles
2:00 Closing Ritual
